An assessment of the Water-Energy-Food nexus in Bidibidi refugee settlement towards the design of sustainable energy technologies

This study assessed the sustainability of the water, energy, and food (WEF) nexus in Uganda's Bidibidi refugee settlement, finding that these resources are closely interconnected and face moderate vulnerability. It highlights the need for integrated, community-driven solutions, such as solar-powered irrigation, clean cooking technologies, and improved food preservation, to strengthen resilience.
